Description
Kisspeptin-11 is the shortest biologically active fragment of the kisspeptin family of neuropeptides, encoded by the KISS1 gene. As an endogenous ligand for the G protein-coupled receptor GPR54 (also known as KISS1R), it occupies a central regulatory position in hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis research. Kisspeptin-11 has been extensively studied in preclinical models examining GnRH pulse regulation, reproductive endocrinology, and neuroendocrine signaling.
